Does RBA provide the Approved Licenses?
Yes, we are an Approved Provider by the Board of Cosmetology. You can verify our license here.
 
I just purchased my course; how do I access it? 
To gain immediate access to your course, please create a login before checking out. You can use this link to access your courses via the "My Courses" login menu. If you forgot to create a login before you checked out or can't gain access to your courses, no worries! Please email us here or help@rossbeautyacademy.com and we can manually add you to your course
I Placed An Order. When Will My Package Arrive?
If you purchased a Student Kit or Hair Products from us, All Packages ship via USPS within 5-7 business days, excluding holidays and weekends. The processing time for orders is 2-3 business days. Thank you for your patience.

What is the best way to reach customer service?
The best way to contact us is via email at info@rossbeautyacademy.com. Please only send one email and you will receive confirmation that your email has been received. Please allow up to 24 hours.
After taking your course, will I be licensed as a Hair Braider?
Yes, depending on your state. Tennessee and North Carolina will require you to complete an application for the Board of Cosmetology in order to receive an official certification/license. Other states don’t require any further actions once you complete your course.
What states do you provide Hair Certifications for?
Tennessee, Florida, Minnesota, and North Carolina. However, many other states don’t require a license but some of the salons still require their hair braiders to take the course. You can still take the course and receive your certificate to show proof to your salon or to your clients. The Hair Braider Certification shows you and are trained in:
1. HIV/AIDS
2. Sanitation & Sterilization
3. Diseases & Disorders of the scalp
4. and Laws & Rules of cosmetology
 
How long do I have access to the course?
All courses are available to access for 1 year/365 Days and can be completed at your own pace.

Is this course available online or in person?
At this time, all of our courses are available only. Hands-on classes to learn techniques are the only in person classes we offer.
How long does the hair braider course take?
The hair braider course is a 16-hour course that is to be completed online at your own pace. Once the course is completed, there is a 10-question quiz required in order to receive your certificate of completion.


How old do you have to be to take the course?

Our certification courses are for ages 16 years of age and older. Our hands-on classes are for students 13 years of age and older. We do make exceptions for hands-on classes with prior experience.

I used the wrong email, or don’t remember what email I used? How do I change the email on file?
No worries! We can get that fixed for you. Please email us help@rossbeautyacademy.com and we can update your email for you.

I can't download my Certificate, what should I do?
No worries! If you are having issues with your certificate, please email us help@rossbeautyacademy.com and we can email your certificate to you.

I didn’t receive my package in the mail?
This is an online course and nothing will be mailed to you unless you selected a mannequin kit or certificate to be mailed. In that case, please email us at help@rossbeautyacademy.com after 10 business days has passed.

We aim to respond to all E-mails within 24 hours. Please note that this timeframe may be extended during holidays.

What is the RBA Refund policy?

RBA does not offer refunds under any circumstances. We do however offer an exchange of courses or products if necessary.
