Body wrapping means a treatment program that uses herbal wraps for the purposes of cleansing and beautifying the skin of the body, but does not include: The application of oils, lotions, or other fluids to the body, except fluids contained in presoaked materials used in the wraps; or Manipulation of the body’s superficial tissue, other than that arising from compression emanating from the wrap materials.
Until recently, 2020, the Body Wrapper License was a board requirement, now it is a requirement to work in most Florida salons and should still be had if you are a hair braider.
The Subjects included in this course are: 3 Hours HIV/AIDS & Other Communicable Diseases, 4 Hours Sanitation & Sterilization4 Hours Diseases & Disorders of the Scalp, and 1 Hours Florida State laws and rules. No Techniques, Textbooks, or Video Demos are included.
